I am a very silly man.
An award-winning humor writer, I know funny stuff when I see it. I have done stand-up comedy and appeared in my own critically acclaimed one-man comedy show. I also write a regular humor column for an electronic subscriber base of 100. Editors of all types turn to me when they need a story with just the right funny touch.
When TekBug Magazine asked me to write about the sport of curling, I wrote a story about his and her curling lessons involving my wife and me.
When I wrote a story about a local table tennis tournament, I discovered that the coordinator traveled to sporting competitions all over the globe to conduct drug tests. The story about an international Olympic urine tester won a first prize for sports humor writing.
And when Metropolitan Living wanted a story about the local karaoke scene, I went to karaoke clubs all over town singing Whats New Pussycat? and wrote about the reactions.
Ive also been known to take my sense of humor on the road and do travel pieces for a wide range of publications.
Now, I would like to entertain you and show you a few places youve never been before.
